GW8IZR
nice honest sounding advert for a change. Cant help but think 'just needs wiring' is a bit optimistic but I bet it sounds fantastic :-)
steve b
...that's interesting , since I got my Forester turbo S I've been wondering about the feasibility of fitting the engine to a coiled LR when the dreaded tinworm takes control . As for sound , it works even with a completely std. exhaust . Torque and power seem like an appropriate balance too driving the car . I may have to get in touch with the seller and ask for some more pic's and the video cheers Steveb
garrycol
Why would you - low torque at high revs - a pointless exercise
FridgeFreezer
So the front driveshaft outputs on the Subaru box just sort of flap around? Nice. Not so much fitted as fell off the crane into the engine bay and was left there. Bonus points for the chassis black over the TRE boots etc., a thorough job indeed
need4speed
Jesus those things were thirsty enough in relatively light-weight saloon. Wonder what the mpg would be in a heavy defender. I bet it makes an RV8 look frugal......
Disco-Ron
Whilst its a relatively light engine its wide..... the exhaust ports exit downwards... the top of the heads must sit above the chassis rails.... so the weight will be quite high.... I guess it'd be ok at donuts tho..... Front axle. ... remove shafts and diff and make a cover plate??...
