reb78
My dads not so well at the moment so my other half and I are taking him and my mother to the Lakes for a week at the start of April. We spent a lot of time there as kids with mum and dad so it seemed like a nice thing to do. Dad cant really walk much at the moment, so most of the sightseeing will be in the 110. I just wondered what picturesque routes and drives folks on here would recommend? The don't have to be lanes, but if they are we will just be in my 110 so cant be too tricky for a lone vehicle. We're staying in Coniston, so the Wrynose and Hard Knott are nearby. Happy to go further off the beaten track though. Where would you recommend? neil110
There is an interesting video in the video shack showing an Austin doing some lanes in the lake district.
