SalM
Hi, I'm new to this, so apologies if this has been asked before! I have a 2012 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Manuel and it has suddenly, without any warning, lost all power. In any gear, I can put my foot flat down on the accelerator and it can't get past 40 MPH and that is a struggle. Does this mean that the Turbo has gone and approx. how much will this cost to put right? Many thanks
Dorsetfreelander
Hard to say at this stage but have a look at this for a start
LRNZ
I had a similar problem and it was the electric fuel pump that had failed. The car would loose power going up steep hills etc. The check engine light would come on when accelerating and then clear when foot lifted off accelerator. If the check engine light is coming on at same time, you should be able to read the fault code. cheers and good luck
caiocsa
I guess that could be a leaking pipe in the turbo system!
