Alan Broadbent
Most uncooperative a couple of years ago when I was looking for a 90. Unable to meet during reasonable hours, difficult to recommend therefore.
Big_Jon
I had a look at a V8 90 there a couple of years ago. Price was about £5500 so I was expecting something nice…………. and I was promised it was. Big mistake! It was in a right state with holes bulkhead and chassis. The guy even refused to let me tap the chassis with my hammer……….It was OK though because I managed put my finger through the front outriggers without much effort. Needless to say I left that one alone and went and found something nice. Be very careful of the descriptions made and think twice about a long journey. Greenmobile
That 130 has been for sale for quite some time, so he could be keen to do a 'deal'.
Porny
Hrmm... Had a phone call from him when I was selling my old 110... lasting impression. Like a 'gear knob' but without the 'gear' bit. Ian

Petes
Pretty sure I drove up and looked at 3 at the time nearly new TD5 90's there and they were all dogs. Shocking presentation, non matching tyres, missing things (fuel caps etc) dents. really rough. The one I was interested in was a 2002 Hard top county pack and this was in 2004. truly awful. GL88
When I was looking for a TD5 90 last year and early this I phoned MRM about an XS in their ads and on their website. Only at the end of a long conversation about particular aspects of the vehicle and when asked a direct question did it emerge that it was a repaired write-off. Their reply in response to my suggestion that the ads should have mentioned this was 'it was reflected in the price' though what they were asking was a private sale price. That led me to check their reputation on the internet and I went elsewhere.
Orgasmic Farmer
Buy this instead off my mate http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=30738 Make him an offer he can't refuse!
6cyltdi
It's for business use so really need to go through a dealer for finance, looking for a 130 as the extra load space would mean not requiring to tow a trailer most days... That one through MRM would be ideal if it gets reasonable MPG but not looking good with their reputation.... Wouldn't need to fork out on lift, winch, roof rack... or tyres for a while.... Anyone nearby fancy going down and having a poke about at it....?? Thanks, Daniel
Godlykepower
Give Mark at the Land Rover Centre a call. If he doesnt have one right there, he will get what you want quickly. Absolutely first-rate service, I cannot recommend them enough. CLICKY Martin
Philip Tonkin
Actually all though there seem to be lots of negatives I found MRM one of the most cooperative of a large bunch! This bunch being the "LR specialists" who seem to have a load of cars in a yard, generally on a farm, not well prepared, easy to access stored, never mind easy to find or connectable! Just daft things on the cars that have supposedly had a paint job get they didn't bother to change the knackered hinges or replace a few missing covers. If you want super service from an independent go to Nene or Foley and pay their kind of money! I am not going to slag anyone of as my name is just over there <---- I was looking for a 300Tdi 90 they had one, it was a little tatty around the edges but was a load better than some where trying to sell for £2k more having had a re-spray and "refurbishment" The guy that I met was friendly and left me to my own devices to look around the car. I looked at that 130, he has had that one of a while. I didn't look in detail but it seemed nice. He told me at the time he liked to turn the cars around quickly so 5 months on he might do you a deal?
forkrentfitter
we went to look at a 110 double cab, when we got there i started looking and asking a few reasonable questions and the bloke got the right arse with me,so by my experiance i wouldn,t buy a kit kat from him, i was Mildly miffed off driving from felixstowe on a wasted trip, don,t waste your time or money with him.
