calle-fas
I like that for one reason. I usually change tires on site before offroading. It seems a lot easier than using the Hi-Lift.
bishbosh
Is it still as effective when the tyre in question is flat? You'll need to get the axle high enough to ensure the (hopefully) inflated spare will clear the ground. Same issue when swapping from road tyres to comp tyres too. Henry Webster
Quite neat, but how much easier is this than a standard LR bottle jack?
western
or a trolley jack, at least it'll lfit a vehicle with a complete flat tyre.
CwazyWabbit
Providing it doesn't start to slide on the ground I see no reason it couldn't cope with a fully flat tyre or with putting larger tyres on. It also has the added bonus of being really low tech and won't suffer from seal failures or lack of oil, so you should probably be comparing it to a hi-lift jack or some other mechanical jack to be fair.
