trainspotter
Where would the best place be to get some proper hose for the turbo/intercooler connections on my 200tdi. I know you get specialists who have the stuff lying on the shelf but this seems to be ridiculously priced. One wanted £70 notes for some small sections of blue pipe. I assume it has to be able to withstand a high pressure of air flow? Would a hydraulic specialist or someone similar do this type of pipe? Any ideas would be appreciated!!! ColinTheCop
My Turbo pipe had a split in it. LR wanted £30 or something silly for a 6" length of pipe. The bloke at the parts counter advised me to go to a Hydraulics place just down the road. They gave me an offcut of the same size free of charge,
toger
Did they just measure the pipe colin or were you able to give a part number or something please?
wizard
Hi Toger. Usually if you take a piece of pipe in they will cut it to size. Or most motor factors keep 90 and 45 deg bends etc in stock. Regards wizard
