Bingy
Whilst im upto my ears still doing the devils knitting, would it be advantageous to fit an Air Fuel guage? I know that this can be monitered on the laptop, but i dont always want to drive around with that plugged in. Whilst im adding wires and electrickery i thought that this could be a viable guage to install. Thanks
bobtail84
Normally when you've set the AFR up on M.T or T.S that's all you need to do but if you want to just nose from time to time I would suggest using shadow dash. You can then monitor the AFR on your phone..
Bingy
Cheers. I'll have a look at it
Bowie69
For AFR you normally need a wide band, and to do that, you will be replacing £50+ sensors every time you go wading, I wouldn't bother.
Bingy
Thanks for that. I didn't even consider the sensor. Now I've got a 52mm hole in the dash I need to fill. Looks like I need to get a clock
Cynic-al
Fuel pressure gauge? I fitted one when I had an engine problem and it's turned out pretty handy. I just use an electronic oil pressure gauge. I think the fuel pressure should be 2.5bar above manifold pressure if I remember correctly. FridgeFreezer
For fuel I generally put a clear inline filter in the return line, that shows you if fuel is flowing and it's a short step from there to deciding if the pump is dead, PRV is stuck open or closed, etc.
