kevindawes
Looks like this caused my ECU to play up. Now trying a loan ecu from Nige, new EDIS, plugs and coil packs and still I get a nasty misfire. Guessing leads and injectors next to try?

Boydie
Moisture is the common cause of the insulator cracking, it gets in between the conductor and insulator and very quickly turns into steam and bingo with the generated steam pressure and corrosion of the conductor that will occur you have a cracked insulator. The easy solution in future is to smear the tops of your spark plugs with high temperature silicon grease before you press the caps on them.
