Tal
I had a dodgy stop solenoid a year or so ago so having bought a spare realised how huge a job it would be to take the pump and pipework off to get to it. Instead of all that I modified a 24mm spanner by grinding down the outside of the jaws. now all I do is take the small electrical contact nut off then slowly undo the solenoid without ever needing to touch the pipework. It makes the job take about 20 minutes instead of well I don't know how long because I've never needed to do it the long way if i remember correctly the slimmer jaw goes toward the engine. hope it saves some time Tal
