bear
Have a look at the top of your dash in the centre. Black round plastic globe type thing. HTH, Griff
sierrafery
Hi, if you've ran the diagnostic protocol while there was no sun against the sensor neglect that fault code cos it's false and leave the sunlight sensor alone, even if the code is real the sunlight sensor failure default has nothing to do with the blower( it's just "no solar heating correction" as in the table), if the blower doesnt work at all not even on full speed better check fuse F7 interior fusebox and if it's good some electrical skills are needed to rule out the relays cos there are two involved and a power transistor... Stretch 123
When I push the control panel I can here the motor working where would the relays be will check the fuse first and keep fingers cross .
sierrafery
What motor can you hear working though cos you said the fan stopped? ...attached : C0153 = blower relay, C0901 = power relay, both involved
Stretch 123
When the control unit is turned on or off I can hear it coming from under the facia on the left side .it sounds like a motor but it could be something else
Stretch 123
Just checked the fuse and they are fine so either relays or senors or wiring harness
sierrafery
I say again, as long as the blower doesnt work on max speed setting which gives it direct feed it has nothing to do with any sensor, what you hear is a flap controll servo motor which settles back to the position which was set before the unit or the ignition was switched off
