elbekko
My RF CV has decided to become a zero-velocity joint, so I need a new one. I can probably get hold of a second-hand genuine one, but that could be a few weeks. From looking around it seems that only Britpart replacements CVs are really available? How carp are these? Peaklander
I have one on my 110. Only 20K miles so far but I have read somewhere on here that they are actually thought to be of good quality. I certainly hope so ?
Snagger
I used them on my RRC and they were excellent, surprisingly. Ashcroft Transmissions did some destructive tests on a range of different brands several years ago, and if I remember correctly, the unbranded Britpart CVs came second and beat the genuine ones (GKN on Defenders, RRCs and Discoverys, not sure about who made the P38's but likely to be the same). elbekko
Thanks for the info guys, let's hope so. Too bad (or is it luckily) Ashcroft does nothing for the P38. What's the big difference with D2 CVs?
