Hhmmmmmm, you might have just cost me a lot of money!

Seriously, you g*t, I really didnt need to know about that, waterproofing ideas?

Sorry Rog, really I am

Waterproofing ideas, touch-screen is tricky but if you want "set it up and forget" then you can do a lot worse than a visit to Tesco's:

Surely it would be ideal for diesel users... you could recalibrate the screen to show the following info:

How much fuel we're not using

How deep the water is we can go through

How little WD40 we ned to use

:D:D:D

True Jim, but we could also add:

How long we can drive before HAV makes our fingers go white and drop off.

How far we can't see out the back because of the smog trail

How loud you have to turn up the stereo before you can hear it.....

I might own a diseasel, but my heart is still pure!!

Except your dumb clockwork engine can't talk to technology like this  and if you're fitting this dash the chances are you're running without a distributor and with proper fuel injection, thus are using less fuel and are able to wade just as deep as the diesel boys. The difference is we can go up a hill without using 100% throttle and battling to keep it on boost

I'm actually building my own MS dash display. I will be a lot smaller & use a 128x64 green PLED display. 180deg view angle.

I have the prototype hardware made & am currently writing the code.

It wont be as user configurable as the digidash, but will display everything one needs over several selectable screens.

as well has having some built in alarms & warnings.

Its going to be built into my custom instrument console.

Will post some pics.

I could be induced to sell some of these if it becomes worthwhile.
