tommi
Hi all. My first post here so here goes. I have a Land rover 90 tdi chassis, but its not original, i.e. it is a replacement. I'm not sure if it has engine mounts for a 200 or 300 tdi. Does anyone have any pics of either, so I can identify what mine are? Thanks, Tom. Yes, 300 and 200 mounts are in a different place, and the bits welded to the chassis are diffeent as well (although the rubbers are similar, as tony shows) dimensions for the 300:

Diesel jim - I'm finding it hard to understand your diagrams, so I found the camera and took some pictures. http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc251/t...99/DSC00383.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc251/t...99/DSC00386.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc251/t...99/DSC00381.jpg http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc251/t...99/DSC00378.jpg Can you tell from these pictures? Guest diesel_jim
Thankyou everyone for your help. Can you tell from these pictures? Thanks, Tom. yup... 200Ti. you can tell because A ) the mouting rubber is round (300's are square-ish) and B ) the metal bits welded to the chassis have an "angled" face, if you look at the pictures i posted of the 300 type, you'll see that the area where the rubber bolts on is horizontal (ie, flat) and your chassis has the correct (tubular) gearbox crossmember for a 200Tdi as well. I have a question for You, i'm mounting a 300tdi engine on a 19J chassis and now i'm positioning the new engine mounts. Someone has some photos of the new mounts to weld to the chassis??
