BadBob Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Hi all can anybody tell me if is poss to change front out put bearing in transfer box on 93 200tdi defender in situ I seem to have a viberation that I thought was prop but tested it and its fine but noticed if you give the flange a shake when prop was off there is some play so I assume the bearing has worn thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Les Henson Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 The front output bearing on the transfer case is supposed to have some play in it - it's a different type of bearing to the rear one.
