BogMonster Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Does anybody know if an electronic version of the template for the Safari snorkels can be downloaded from anywhere as a PDF or graphic, to be printed? My 110 needs a new wing fitted due to an altercation with a passing lump of concrete (yes really - the vehicle was stationary and a concrete block crashed into it) and I would like to drill the snorkel mounting holes before the wing panel is painted and fitted, but I can't measure the old wing until the snorkel is off the vehicle and I don't have the template. western Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 my thinking was as one link shows the template, you could save it as a jpg file then in paint or similar programme increase it to real size & print it off to use, but maybe I'm being daft. LDRover Posted March 5, 2008 Share Posted March 5, 2008 Hi, What I did on my discovery snorkel was to cut a peace of card just a little wide that the snorkel. I then cut out the hole for the pipe and the 4 mounting holes. Place the template and snorkel on the wing, once in place use some tape to hold the template on the wing remove the snorkel and drill the mounting holes.
