Rover V8 - Head Bolts AND Inlet Manifold Bolts - order

Hi all,

Have been helping a fellow 'V8 nut' sort out a engine quirk,

as a result I had to 'dig this up', .....and thought it would be worth popping up here.

Many Rover V8 owners are used to having to tighten up a Head in a set order bolt wise, ....

many are equally unaware of this also being the case on a Inlet Manifold.

Enclosed is a piccie for both

For a TIN valley gasket 25-30 Ft Lbs (in 2 stages 20 and then either 25 or 30)

For a COMPOSITE valley gasket 40 Ft Lbs (in 3 stages 15 then 35 then 40)
