Jimmy Two-Jacks
I am just gathering the bits and pieces I need to fit my winch. When I bought my winch sometime back I bought a keyed isolator to fit when I eventually got around to fitting the winch . Looking at the current that the winch could draw is the isolator up to the job? It was the biggest I could find within reason at the time. I avoided the red plastic key type that seems to melt!! Specs below: 250A Continuous @ 12v 2500A for 10 seconds
CwazyWabbit
I think that is the favoured one by people on here, however it would be handy to know which winch you are using......

Team Idris
Long lived as well. I've had one so long as a main kill switch I had to change the cross bar on the key through wear. Maybe 10 on-offs a week for 15 years. (hope I didn't just curse mine)
zardos
I have managed to melt one a bit, the contact plate inside sank in to the plastic housing just enough for it to stop working. This was with a twin motor gigglepin winch on some long and hard pulls.
