  2. Hi looks like the slave has failed in my 02 freelancer td4 THE question is... is it essential to fit a new flywheel (money a bit tight) and is it as difficult as it sounds to drop the box and fit new clutch ect

  4. cheers for the reply iv read on here that it can be repaired by removing wiper motor and soldering a piece of solid copper wire to broken terminal ill have a go let you know how i get on
  5. took the passenger side door panel off to day to try and sort the regulator put the meter on the motor. power to go up but non for down tried swapping the switch for the drivers side still up only the motor is ok it runs both ways when just connected to battery
  6. hi, yet another problem the front wipers wont park
  7. i think your right FF i took the panel off drivers side removed the reg had a play with it, separated the motor from it. and the motor would not run when wired to battery. i just kept turning the motor with my fingers and all of a sudden away it, went put it all back together replaced reg into door and its working again although it does stick at the bottom give door a bang and up it goes. wonder if i have the window in correctly it doesn't always stick again FF thanks for the help.......... next problem front wipers will not park any thoughts
  8. i have a 02 td4 the front o/s and n/s and rear n/s windows have stopped working also the o/s rear is iffy some times will sometimes wont work im thinking window relay any thoughts from you good fellows, and where is it situated thanks in advance
  9. take care when trying to remove pcv housing the fuel return pipes become hard and i broke two tee pieces on removal costing £30 to replace
  10. dont seem to have fusebox inside passenger compartment

  12. well topped up master cyl reservoir and all seems well.... i think ill change the m/s next week, no signs of fluid from the bell housing thanks for help

  14. cheers squaddie, errm dont laugh when bleeding the clutch do you top up the master cyl, mine has a rubber seal not a screw top its just iv never seen a master cyl like this before did an oil change last week saw no fluid from bell housing thanks for the help

  16. hi again all, my next problem is the clutch aint disengaging properly making it difficult to engage gear when stopped and equally difficult going down the box. clutch not slipping, have seen not fluid from the bell housing, master cyl perhaps? any help gratefully received
  17. thanks again fridgefreezer, job done as you say its quite easy BUT, when removing the filter/valve cover it fouled on the fuel return pipe breaking two of the plastic T pieces which cost £30 to replace grrrrrrr but it looks like its stopped smokin thanks again for the help

  20. hi all I have an 02 td4 its now done 189800 miles its started to smoke a bit (blue) sometimes belching blue smoke when driving sometimes not after ticking over for a time seems worse but it does clear up any ideas ( new member)
