the sideframes I mentioned above
wish I could buy them.
Can I ask an ignorant question ..... Why are they £700 ?
-
I bought one of the Dutch ones - not had chance to fit it yet though. Hopefully it works as per standard....
-
I never knew that ! I've slept in my clothes when its been cold. Mind you I always had carp sleeping bags.
-
Can't wait to hear more about it !
Are these lanes or private land ?
Do they offer different routes ? Or is everyone on the same track ?
-
Brilliant !!
Looking forward to hearing how team DumpiDump get on ?

I'll be really interested to hear about how it goes. I've looked at this for a long time.
I'd be interested to know how difficult it is - the application has a fairly minimal vehicle spec, whereas some of the videos show sections that look to require a locker and have the potential for damage.

Quite a nice video on YouTube from the 2010 event :

Ahh they don't call him M. Bosse - it's....

Lolololol

Anyone translate that for me ?
-
I've translated the website, but it still doesn't tell me what sort of event it is.
Anyone been and has an overview of the event? What do you do? etc....
Steve
Have a look on YouTube - it's like a giant Laning trip for 200 people - organised by GRM through some amazing countryside.
They used to have that one as the 'easy' one and the trophy cevanol (sp?) as the extreme one - but they lost access to the land for that one.
-
A trip I hope to make on the next few years - hope you have a fantastic time :-)
-
And they mention 'economy' in the write up. I don't think you could live long enough to see any economic benefits to having that done !

They are held on with little spot welds. If you run a bit emery around inside you'll see where they are.
I asked the same query some while ago here:
-
I saw it at their workshop when I had my last 90 re-mapped. He'd done a really neat install - very factory looking.
-
Get 'em if you like them. We're allowed to lose the plot.
-
I doubt it.
Whilst the D3 has a chassis my understanding us that it takes its strength from the monocoque bodywork - this why they said it had 2 chassis.
Additionally the modifications required to just line the body up would be enormous.
-
I like the drivers side - the passenger side looks a bit like you've been caught up on a tree and used your right foot to free it off

Yes - I think the words as a step in the right direction.

I would think the trade use a lot ? Where they aren't fussed about quality and the odd bodge and are simply looking for the largest margin ?
-
Great ! Thank you all.
And Mike looks like you have a little person airing down your trailer tyre there .... Was it prep for rock crawling ?
So - tent brand selected - where do you all carry them ?
Are those aerodynamic roof box things any good ?

That's a shame given that the suspension travel was so balanced beforehand.
Is it something that changing the spring rates would address ?
