    I’m wavering in that - better quality Chinese stuff is emerging, and there are tons of spares, and an ever growing community of folk who know them inside out.

    If you look on AliExpress there are loads of them. I keep thinking of these - but what put me off was them needed to switch the heating fan on to work as a heater without the engine running.

    I hate the spiral stuff … but the first stuff Bowie has shared is fantastic. You can get a really slim factory look to things with that. I feel so strongly about it that if you don’t - I’ll buy you a roll ☝️ just to stop you using an inferior product. 😃😂

    Good choice I think. I have seen a series with series seats and a cub in the centre. So I would think you can keep it.

    Not for me me. I had an injured wood pigeon freeze to death in my garden last night It looked more mobile than I am. I think I was Livignio when it was -16° and I’d have been more prone to set fire to a Land Rover for warmth than crawl underneath it trying to repair it.

    In one of the earlier pictures … did I notice a complete lightweight in the background ? Is this being built as a second one? I’d somehow thought you had one and expected that one to be the basis of this rebuild.

    I bought some of the Screwfix LED battens with the replacement starter .. and they are too long. I’m assuming it’s the switch to metric …. I have one fluorescent tube that seems to keep going back to flickering… new tube and I’ve been through a few starters. So I’m keen to switch to LED.

    Are you going to press your own front panel from 6mm ? If so .. you won’t need a bumper!
