  1. Oh dear, well it certainly sounds like the battery You mention that you've tried another battery - was this a new one or could it be that you inadvertently have 2 failed batteries. Once the vehicle is started and has run for a little while, will it turn off and immediately start again? You also changed the alternator prior to having 'this' problem. I wonder if that is a coincidence..... Is it worth double checking that there isn't some kind of short circuit around this area?? Just a few thoughts.....
  2. Your clutch problem could be down to the Clutch Damper (the device that hides the clutch shuddering from the pedal) It appears that this is a common cause of pain to those who need to bleed clutch hydraulics and therefore is often bypassed. http://www.landroverclub.net/Club/HTML/Dis...utch_damper.htm It's worth noting that when my clutch wouldn't bleed through it, I simply bought a new one!!
  3. I'd imagine its a bit rough and uncared for. And it goes without saying that you'd have to do a thorough inspection to be certain that the dreaded tin worm hasn't got too much of a hold..... But considering the mileage, and that it is a part ex to clear from a BMW specialist, it would be the sort of money I'd expect to pay! (if I was interested)
  4. Am I the only one who thinks that a 200 TDi sounds so much more 'Land Rover' than a V8???? B) If you go TD5, then there's a whole heap of electronics you have to take too!
  5. I see that LRO are still chasing those who have already committed to Newark http://www.lro.com/news.php?sid=249&page=1 My main concern here is that even if no-one takes up their 'generous' offer that there will be sufficient doubt cast (LRM will no longer be able to confirm attendees) that the trade may decide now not to risk Newark Is anyone on this forum seriously considering the offer?
