  1. had this happen to mine take air filter out and clean it or replace mines a kn one the filter was blocked causing the top intercooler hose to collapse intermittently, no power ect worth a try
  2. all fixed now found a wiring diagram then removed the relay put a temp jumper in horn output fuse blown, this told me no short from swheel to fbox, there are 2 outputs on back of fusebox both purple/green cut passenger side horn one, fuse now not blowing, after more tracing, cable is damaged between bulkhead and fbox so just ran new cable between those points all fixed
  3. just been playing with the wiring removed relay fuse doesn't blow when button pressed so does this mean the wiring from the buttons to the underbonnet fuse board is ok and the short is between the relay and horns drives side horn makes a blip momentarily before fuse blows so I am assuming the fault must lie between passenger side horn and relay how does the harness run does it go back thro the bulkhead and behind dash and back out drivers side bulkhead to engine fuseboard or is there a wire I can see that links the horns together
  4. horn stopped working when u press button blows fuse have checked horns by removing them still blows have checked relay still blows any ideas I think it might be the rotory coupler anyone had same problem
  5. this just happened to mine today lost all drive pipe had come off at the cooler , hope the gearbox isn't broken, gona try your fix tomorrow the pipes are silly prices to replace and what useless connections lr use , front of the chassis wont rot now thou tis plastered
  6. one of the harness plugs has corroded it is on front passenger side lower a post behind plastic trim lowest one of the 3 is possible just to bypass the connector or are they joined within the spacer between plugs its the lower 4 connectors all in one block on connector, one controls the interior lights purple/blue have bypassed this and interior lights now work, but are they strait through on the others ,cannot meter them as they are kaput any help would be appreciated thks

  8. fixed my interior lights as well connector is well corroded is it safe to bypass the other 3 wires on the block of 4 at end of connector or are they common joined within connector
