  1. A lot of places are saying it's no longer available, but have you tried giving John Craddock a bell or contacting them? https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/pages/contact.php they may be able to track one down
  2. Hi, I'm buying these Front runner boxes http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/accessories/front-runner/sbox008-front-runner-wolf-box-pack-low-lids-product-dimensions-br-510mm-20-1-l-x-400mm-15-8-w-x-230mm-9-1-h-br-br-internal-br-450mm-17-7-l-x-340mm-13.html for my Defender and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for roof rbars that would be compatible? My old roof bars have reached the end of its life, so think its time to invest in a good quality set. Thanks,
  3. I'd recommend Safari, i've tried both and always found Safari to be really well made.
  4. Thinking about splashing out on of these: http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/accessories/winches-and-accessories/warn-winches-and-accessories/89640-warn-zeon-8-8000lb-3630kg-12v-winch.html Anyone used them before? Been using a cheap Mantec one for the past couple of years and it's not looking too clever at the minute. I'm also unsure whether it would be worth the extra £200 for the synthetic rope version.
  5. Just in the process of getting everything we (hopefully...) need for a trip to Morocco next month. Crossed my mind that a dash cam would be a fantastic way to record the journey and wondered if anyone had any recommendations? I've seen this one on offer from Craddock's and it seems to look the business. I do want reasonable quality footage though so might need to spend a bit more if necessary.
  6. Ahh cheers! Thanks for your help, think I might give them a try.
  7. Hi, I've been looking for some new driving lights for my series 1 and i've short listed these light force ones http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/series/series-1/accessories/lights/hid140-t-light-force-driving-light-lance-140mm-12v-35w-remote-ballast-5000.html i've never bought the brand before though, so was just wondering if anyone had any opinions before i take the plunge. I've bought so many cheaper ones in the past that haven't lasted very long and haven't been great quality that I don't mind paying the extra, any suggestions appreciated.
  8. I have these, although pretty pricey i wouldn't be without them now http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-parts/gdl015-duo-lux-7-led-headlight-single-rhd.html , i think the cheaper ones would be worth a try though before investing in the 1k options.
  9. Yeahh i always find John Craddock has a good selection of series one parts http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/series/series-1/ looking great so far!
  10. Definitely be better finding a four seater, the side fitting seats aren't the safest anyway.
  11. Managed to find a pretty cheap one near me here http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-parts/lhg100580-crankshaft-damper-pulley-td5-.html and managed to persuade a pretty skilled (and kind!) friend who's willing to help me fit it, thanks for the advice!
  12. Yeahh it's the TD5 done a bit of research and it seems a known problem unfortunately! Think i might see how cheap it is to buy on its own and try and fit it myself
  13. After a few weeks of weird squeaking from the engine of my trusty discovery, i decided to get the discovery checked and have been told that it's the crank shaft pulley that needs replacing, and this would cost about £350... i don't know if this seemed a little much? Any guidance appreciated!
  14. Cheers for the advice guys I'm definitely going for remoulds, just need to pick which ones now.
  15. Hi, looking for some tyres for the winter, with maybe a little off-roading and i've seen some pretty good deals on some Sahara remoulds by Insa Turbo.. i've never used remoulds before, so just wondering if they were any good for the price?
