I have never seen ARB spacers, where are these available from
Hello
Could you make a spacer out of some 50mm box with some holes straight through (with some flat plate or tube to strengthen box)

What he ^^^^ said , I'd give Gwyn a ring if I were you and tell him what you're looking to do with the vehicle etc and he'll sort you out with what you want/need .
I have his suspension kit fitted to my 110 and it's spot on

Or just some old rims and no tyres at all?
I had to get to get my 110 out of the garage after rebuilding it by letting the tyres down on the back and removing th tyres on the front if anybody had seen me reversing out the garage they would have been chuckling I reckon

Nice set, found that online for £156, but the more choice I get the more I struggle....
How does the Tend set compare to Halfords professional?
the Teng set is very handy because it's got the pliers ,snips, mole grips etc ,etc and also it's got some AF sockets and spanners which again is very handy . It's really useful to carry as a tool kit in your landy or if you're doing a job outside where you don't want to cart a big toolbox around .
The Halfords set is also very good IMHO , so I suppose it depends what you are after ?
Of course you know the easily solution is to buy both after all it is christmas

I was looking for a tool kit to keep in my 110. I used to gave a cheap Draper set with 3/8" sockets and a selection of spanners in useful sizes - but none of the junk like subminature 5 lobe torx tips that most sets use to make up the total number of tools. I bought it perhaps 20 years ago - but lost it a few years ago when my 90 caught fire!
It seems that these days it's hard to find combination sets that are not huge and contain 50% junk tools! Any ideas?

I have this set in my 110 and to be fair I think it's spot on , It's handy having AF size spanners&sockets aswell as metric ideal for working on something with the green oval on

Hi
I've got a 16' ifor williams twin axle with wheels below bed , and would not change to tri axle like Phil says you can carry less because gross weight is still 3500kgs and you've got six tyres wearing out instead of four.
would imagine the tyres scrub like a bar steward if you're turning round in a tight space
Just my two penneth

somebody on here has got some fitted to a range rover.
I looked at buying some a little while ago with the intention of grafting the drop boxes onto the end of series axles.
I couldn't buy the axles cheap enough to justify the experiment.
try doing a search for simca portal?
I'll give the search a whirl , are you still after some axles ?
Gary

Thank goodness for that somebody only mentioned that they maybe different when I'd got the pump fitted, timing belt on,timing cover on and water pump etc fitted
Cheers
Gary

Yes was thinking simca axles , just wondered about them as i've never heard anybody say they've fitted them to a land rover and wondered why

Hi
I would recommend Richards Chassis , I bought a 110 chassis off them earlier this year and there service was good and they seem to have a pretty good reputation.
I'm fairly sure that Marsland chassis are made like the original chassis , two pressings welded together down the centre , where as Richards are fabricated out of four plates welded together

hello
has anybody ever fitted sumb portal axles to a land rover ? I should think that there very similar /the same as mog 404 axles ?

slightly different & IIRC the 300Tdi FIP has slightly higher working pressures.
Thanks for your reply Ralph , do you think it will work then ? or are the pressures hugely different ?

hello
right i'm in the process of rebuilding a 300 tdi engine and have taken off the old edc pump as I want to get rid of any electronic wizardry
I've fitted a 200 tdi pump off a friend but somebody mention today that they may be different something about pressures
So is a 300 tdi injector pump the same as a 200 one ? has anybody on here done the swap and got a functioning engine ?
Cheers

here's my 300tdi on it's engine stand
HTH
And before anybody says I know the chuffin bolts are too long but there all I had
