  1. I've decided to fit the Land Rover part and see what happens. Thanks. Guy
  2. The radio part of my radio/CD player doesn't work very well. The reception is extremely poor. The aerial is one of those short rubber things fixed to the wing. What options are there to improve reception. Longer aerial? Placed higher up ie roof? Thanks, Guy
  3. I know someone running these on the UK challenge scene. He thinks they are the greatest thing ever. Having seen them at work, I'd agree. Guy
  4. Thanks for the tips. Myself and Northernchris have just finished poking around underneath and it appears to be propshaft UJs. Just off to get some and then change them. Should sort it. Guy
  5. I hope it's not the steering damper. It's brand new and only fitted at the weekend. Would that not cause vibration though the steering wheel though? I'll check the panhard rod. Thanks, Guy
  6. I'm getting violent vibration when I either accelerate or go over 50mph. It was fine yesterday and started suddenly this morning. It feels if it is coming though the road wheels. I've checked the wheels and all seems fine. Doesn't appear to be any bearing problems. There is no play in either the front of rear propshaft. It feels very like something is breaking up as you drive along. Any other ideas? Thanks, Guy
  7. Dave, Must be a Simex thing. They never worked loose with the BFGs I had. Guy
  8. Going to be crowded out there . Quite fancy another trip out there now I've finally stopped paying for the first trip (happy days eh Peter!!!) Guy
  9. I ran spacers and Wolf rims on my 110 as I was having issues with the radius arm when on full lock. I never had any problems with bearings. I now have a 90 with same sized tyres but standard modulars on and have no problems. If i had I would have kept the spacers instead of giving them to Dave Guy
  10. Dave, I think it would be OK but you ought to try it (Loddington is open this Sunday). I seen rubbing on some cars but not others. Might be time to buy those nice Mach 5 rims Guy
  11. Put it in third and floor it!!!!!
  12. I have to say i've never found it the most riverting read. It's better than it was but i still don't make a special effort to buy it. Guy
  13. I wondered if changing to the Difflock stuff would help. The jury seems out on it though. it feels like the cogs are not quite in the right place and you need to give them a short time to come together before you let the clutch up. None of my other Land Rovers have done this. Guy
  14. That's a big job Chris. Last time I looked it need a fair bit of body work doing as well. Can't think why. He's such a gentle driver normally!!! Guy
  15. Julian, Is that you? Still got the Camel Freelander. Only a couple left up here from your day!!!! Guy
