  1. Thanks for the prompt reply, I will have to send this information to the garage that I'm using as i must admit I'm not a mechanic. Thanks again tanuki
  2. I own and operate a Land Train with three carriages as a tourist attraction in Yorkshire. It was modified from a Land Rover defender TD5 (2004) by a company called Deltrain in Portugal which was then supplied to myself by Severn Lamb in UK. Around 7 weeks ago whilst driving the vehicle it began to lack power and require a bit more on the accelerator pedal - this started to happen more frequently and has now resulted in the engine management light coming on followed by the vehicle going into limp mode / idle mode. i have had numerous mechanics / auto electricians run a diagnostics which keeps saying there is a driver demand fault recorded on the ECU. I purchased a brand new throttle pedal which was fitted and literally 2 minutes after wiping the ECU and having the new throttle pedal fitted the management light came back on and it went into limp mode again. We ran another diagnostics on the vehicle and it came back saying it had recorded yet another driver demand fault. I have spoken with Delatrain and they have assured me that all the wiring is completely standard but some wires have been extended but NOT changed in any way or form. The train does have a road speed limiter fitted (20mph MAX) - is this something that could affect the 'driver demand fault'. Has anyone else had this issue? if so please, please, please help as I need my train back up and running before Christmas. Thanks in advance, Charles
