You could try the spray type tint, available on eBay. Graham -
Do a search on utube for td5 sticking waist gate and there are several videos that show you what to do did mine only tool 5 mins and I have never looked back. Hope this helps Graham

I had a similar problem with my 2002 td5, found it was the turbo wast gate actuator stuck a little wd40 a a set of grips got it moving again and now do 70 mph on motorways with no problem. Worth a look! Graham

Hi all i have two questions to ask 1/ I have a 02 defender td5 which seems to have a "normal" key and no key fobs, no central locking, how do I set the alarm (green box behind the speedo) 2/ I have only one key is it possable to get one cut without the fobs. forgive me if the question sound daft but after reading the net I am totally confused. thanks Graham.
