ok i'm ready to be shot down in flames here but......after adjusting this that and the other maybe that isnt the problem..........have you reset everything back to where it was before you started tweaking??...you have......good................now then the problem may lie not with the fueling set up but with the injectors themselves.....have you had them serviced?? or maybe try taking the fuel filter off and filling it up with that deisel engine additive (buggered if i can remember the name at moment) it's also best to do this when you are lowish on fuel in the tank too..........then just chuck the rest of the bottle in the tank and run it for 20 odd miles to get her nice and hot.....this should improve things a touch....but i'd definately have my injectors serviced if i were you

ah yes.....option 3 is a 1.6............is the disco 1.2 no good then???

what material is it made from??? i am assuming ally....ot steel......either way its possible to spot weld it and fill the hole then (gently) grind it back and polish

Hi guys.......now i havn't looked into this too much but i have a dodgy gearbox (now lying by the side of tilly) when the time comes to pop the gearbox back in i have the choice of 3 transfer boxes to fit.....the first is the original one still attatched to the old gearbox(a defender unit i think).....the second one is one i purchased which is originally from a discovery.....the third one is attatched to the gearbox that is going back in(also a defender unit...apparantly)......now...i cant remember what the ratios are that is on the boxes but i think all 3 are different.......which transfer box is best for my 110 running 285/75/16's powered by a 200tdi......and if some kind soul wants to explain the science behind the ratios i'd be muchly appreciative!!!

Hi all.......i live over in Westest Wales and was wondering.....does this forum have an active welsh contingent? Do you have get togethers in south wales? would any welsh member who is laning around the Brecon area be prepared to let this fella (and maybe a mate or 2) tag along on a green lane trip? Ive spent last year trudging back and for to the Bala area......and while its fantastic laning up that way i'd like to get into something a little closer to home (and not requiring a weekends camping lol) any help recieved very gratefully

personally i allways run my Tilly on or just below the "n" normal mark on the dipstick.......i'd rather run a little low onoil than have too much in as thats more damaging
