Mine is a TD5 so maybe different. I did it the other night and it took about 15 minutes from start to finish. Drain old fuel from the bottom plug, twist off filter (remembering something underneath to catch the few drops that will keep coming), bit of engine oil around the gasket/o-ring of the new filter, fill up with some fuel if you have any (I didn't), screw back on (some have a water sensor to connect). I then put ignition to position II and pumped accelerator 5/6 times until the engine management light came on and pump starting whirring. This took about 6 minutes to complete. I took it for a drive and there was obviously some air in the pipes as it stalled once and almost felt like it was misfiring another time. I pulled over and purged again, it was ok after that.
