  1. I am in the process of getting a list of who we have so far, the forms are still coming in though so its looking like being a good event Boothy have you heard from Donk?
  2. Barney on the Slindon photos Saley has painted the motor so that you don't recognise him, its a red colour now
  3. Royal Mail are working flat out to get them to Eric's. The Bag was too heavy for the post bike, they have had to give him a van

Could those of you that are going to enter either The Northern or The Clubman Challenge events, please send your forms in to Eric ASAP even if you want to pay on the day so that we can start planning how many cards we will need, door stickers etc, We are running cards on both side of the vehicle at this event so it is really good value for money as that amounts to a potential 80 punches for the single vehicle clubman, and a potential of 160 punches for the 2 day Northern 2 vehicle teams. get your forms in ASAP please many thanks

  10. with the joys of modern technology, i doing a quick post whilst sat in the chinese getting my tea, The Northern Challenge was won by team sharpe and co, and the clubman challenge was one by by John Sales and Carl Hurst, after fine tuning the rear winch , there expert knowledge told them another 5 - 10 grams of weight was required near to the rear winch, after fine tuning the back of the car they then went on to win the event. Many thanks to everybody who took part and we look forward to seeing you at our next event inOctober. Scores will be posted on the event websites later tonight.

There is water there all year round due to the weather it will now be quite as regards silly deep there is only 1 hole thst you loose a range rover in and a pond, the ponds depth is unknown, normally the water is proberly below hub height, but after all the rain it will have quite a lot of standing water
  12. HI Guys Just to confirm the event is most defiantly happening, those of you who have sent Eric forms assuming they have landed with him he will have sent you and email. Please make sure you have prepared your vehicle and yourself etc for plenty of water A map link has been added to the event websites www.northernchallenge.co.uk www.clubmanchallenge.co.uk click on events and then click on map next to Holymoorside Please approach the site from the A619 and at Wadshelf Cross Roads take the road to your left coming from Chesterfield Sign posted Loads Head and Eastmoor yellow BADLRC Arrows will direct you to the site from the A619 cross Roads, if coming from Chesterfield you pass the Highway Man pub on your left pull into their car park and go back the other way you have missed the tuning. please do not approach the site through Holymoorside village as the roads are narrow and there are lots of parked cars etc.

Please note that the regs and the forms are now on our new challenge website for the 2 events:- www.northernchallenge.co.uk and www.clubmanchallenge.co.uk You can still get to the through the BADLRC website as normal but it will be these sites will be updated with information about the events, entry, froms, final instructions, results etc.

  20. OK then that's that then we will see you and hopefully saley at the next one I never did catch up with Neil at the weekend!! he ran past me and disappeared probably standing on high ground looking down at saley the wrong way up in the bottom of that gulley.

We have got one at Frickley at the weekend a team event over the weekend or a single event on the Sunday, you are welcome to do the team event if you can find another team member or the single vehilce event on the Sunday cost for the one day is £50 The team event is £75 per vehcle.   23. Barney when you phone Earl see if you can get hold of Danny to see if you can get hold of Garry Challenge Smith he must have some cobwebs in his winch cable he nees to clear out as I havent heard of him out for a long time
  24. last time and the competition times we are going for on the team event are 11:00 till 19:00 Saturday and Sunday 09:00 till 15:00 as it stands we are running the same times this time as I am not sure if we have any restrictions on site use after dark etc night stages will be towards the backend of the year unless barney tells me other wise.
