Rather than the IVA it might be easier to buy a brand new galv chassis and fit that ..... of just keep quiet and never mention it again. Who in all honestly is going to go looking for this issue unless you bring it up.
Hi, first post, I'm in the process of stripping down a Discovery for it's engine etc to put in a Defender. I'm fine with the mechanical so far but the engine wiring has got me wondering. Just how much of it do I need? I noticed a whole bunch of wires from the engine loom going through the bulkhead.
You want it on the floor, no better damper than mother earth. Rubber feet in a double walled box, maybe 2x3s with ply on both sides.
Even better make a breeze block bunker for it outside with a double skin lid.
