Just in case anyone comes across this connector, I worked out its the A/C loom connection point, Wiring diagram shows that A/C uses Brown (N), N/O, W/O and N/S. Source is page 1.1 on this link - http://www.legionlandrover.com/manuales/electrical schemes - defender 300 tdi.pdf

Thanks Western, I'd found that but couldn't figure out what the plug is doing.... I've a working alarm and sounder (although the Battery Backup Sounder is defunct) so what purpose does the plug serve?

I used that on mine when I had the tub off. Nice and easy, just drill out the old rivets and pop that in. I used the old one to line up the holes to drill through the new ones.

Hi, I've finally got around to trying to wire up some heated seats that I re trimmed a while ago (From Exmoor Trim) and the kits wants an ignition supply. I wondered if there was one I could tap into around the fuse box, however when I was looking I found a 4 pin plug seen in the photo. After looking (with my limited knowledge) at the wiring diagrams I'm unable to work out what it's for. With the colours being Brown, I'm guessing they're a main feed from the battery so not an ignition switched supply? Any help on identifying what it is and indeed wheres the best place for getting a switched ignition supply feed from. As you can probably tell auto electrics are not high up on my skills list!
