  1. This was on offer at Halfords last week at half price, not sure if the deal is still going on, I bought 8 litres of Castrol for £35. HTH
  2. @Blippie, is that Tarr Steps by any chance? Cheers
  3. I believe the rear (boot) door seal is the usual culprit, or an incorrectly fitted hardtop if that's what you have rather than a S/W.
  4. No wading plugs and the manual quotes 400mm maximum. HTH
  5. No worries, mine's a '54' plate 'Landmark' edition. Yours looks good, look forward to seeing the other pictures. Cheers
  6. No worries, mine's a '54' plate 'Landmark' edition. Yours looks good. look forward to seeing the other pictures. Cheers
  7. I like the sound of this a lot, could you email me some photo's please? I've got to sell my D2 yet unless you were interested in a swap + cash, I was looking for £8.5k ONO for mine, let me know if you need any more details. Cheers.
  8. As above. What year/spec. is your 110? I have a D2 and was thinking of going the other way? Cheers
  9. +1 on that. I went from 18" rims to 16" rims, best 'mod' you can do.
  10. I enjoyed tonight's episode, I missed the first one, better have a look on iPlayer...
  11. Had the same thing with my D2 a few months back, I ended up changing the lock/latch unit, I went for a genuine new part as didn't want to risk using a second hand one that could fail at any time, more details of how I did it here - http://www.greenlandrover.org.uk/new-front-door-latch/ HTH
  12. Have you checked that the turbo wastegate is 'free' and not sticking closed? Also I've heard of similar symptoms when crankshaft position sensor is duff. HTH
  13. Hi Matt I bought it from Safari-Equip back in 2009, it seems a well made bit of kit, I paid around £125 for it as a 'cash' deal at the Peterborough show. http://www.safari-equip.co.uk/index.php?page=23 Cheers.
  14. Mine has a similar arrangement, no rattles so far. (Circled below)
  15. I'll echo what Bogmonster says, I've also owned D2's both with and without ACE and the advantages are minimal especially as the system gets older and potentially expensive to maintain.
  16. How about this one from Raptor? - http://www.raptor-engineering.co.uk/Cubby-Box I've no personal experience of them but have heard good reports about them.
  17. That's the one! Apologies for the wrong link.
  18. I heard that they'd been bought out by these people - http://www.touring-gear.com/ not 100% sure though I'm sure someone can confirm/deny that.
  19. I noticed the same kind of thing at the 'Indoor 4x4 Show' earlier this year, barring the sheep dog trials... I think it's time for a 'cull' of the shows to be honest, too many spread too thinly and the high cost of entry seem to be the big factors for not going according to the majority of people I've spoken to.
  20. The new LRA forum is a prime example of how not to migrate a forum, they've upset a lot of people with poor handling of the situation and even more with the dreadful 'new' layout, it's like stepping back in time 10 years. The word 'bogroll' seems to have been used a lot to describe the new layout with good reason.
  21. All pretty straightforward, I've attached the service sheets below, hopefully they're good enough quality to read. HTH
  22. I've got a '54 plate 'Landmark'
  23. I was thinking of going the other way, D2 to Freelander (I don't need to tow)
