  1. I’m a former plant mechanic/ delivery driver and the tracked are superior in just about every way , same with skidsteers
  2. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293539429802 wrong country I know but you get the idea
  3. @Arjan deffo 100% absolutely go for tracked over tyres ,lower ground pressure and way more grip , once you master using the controls the wrong way round you don’t even have to walk behind !

  5. It didny work 🤦🏼‍♂️
  6. https://www.theverge.com/2020/4/4/21207927/5g-towers-burning-uk-coronavirus-conspiracy-theory-link I thought you lot were joking 🙄
  7. I was going to write a reply explaining my post but then I realised I can’t actually be bothered to explain myself
  8. Advertised either by a numpty or someone who knows it’s naughty 🙄 either way there’s no excuse !
  9. If u want to find lunatics and conspiracy theorists Instagram is the place to be ! I haven’t used my account in over a year but can only imagine the utter drivel being peddled on there atm 🤪
  10. Don’t worry Monkie , I think most people on here are smart enough to ignore the BS printed by the media and that goes for everything the print not just the current pandemic! I wouldn’t trust a tabloid journalist as far as I could kick them
  11. Lies , damned lies ,and statistics !
  12. I’ve had two rrc with the 4182 (well one was my parents but I used it !) and thought they were brilliant engines ............. until I put a 200tdi in a rrc , no comparison , the 200tdi is streets ahead , that would be my recommendation, one of the best engines Land Rover ever made
  13. TBH the lockdown hasn’t altered my day to day much at all , obviously I’m paying more attention to what I touch , how close I get to people etc etc but on a day to day it’s pretty much the same but then I suppose farming can be a pretty lonely job at times but it suits me ! Of course my daughter is home all day with the school closures , the wife works at the ambulance service so is in the thick of it so to speak and even the corn merchants have got their doors closed (park up , phone in your order and they bring it out to you ) but in general I could almost forget that it’s all going on !
  14. TBH I think a heck of a lot of people , for a while at least , will have a new found appreciation for all the things we take for granted .
  15. Time will tell but I foresee thousands of small businesses going belly up (of course others will come along in their place ) pubs , shops etc , a lot of unemployment for at least 12 months and lots of mortgage repossessions 😖. I think the gap between the haves and have nots will grow too .Hope I’m wrong . I noticed in the news that Gordon Ramsey had laid off 500 staff , I know he’s had to shut his restaurants but he earned £51 million last year , you would think a bit of that could have gone to keeping his staff in a wage until he can reopen , thousands have been let go from their work , some unavoidable, some down to pure greed and selfishness by the business owners . Sad times
  16. Is this the one that had Tom Hardy in one episode and Neil Hodgson(bike racer ) and Henry Cavill (sooperman) in another ?
  17. My wife works for YAS (Yorkshire Ambulance Service ) and says the number of accidents , RTA’s etc etc have fallen through the floor as obviously people aren’t working , aren’t driving as much , the roads are eerily quiet . I’m still working (farming ) and have been on the road all day with the slurry tanker , normal Saturdays are a nightmare with traffic , walkers and cyclists , seen no more than half a dozen of each today . Think of the spike when everyone eventually gets back on the roads and back to work (hopefully!) 😖
  18. I can quite easily and happily disinfect it 👍🏻 I am disinfecting my hands whenever necessary atm with Hibiscrub , the stuff surgeons use when they scrub in , we have it for the pigs and luckily I have half a gallon so got some in the house , the workshop and my car ! My social contact is very limited anyway so might only need to use it once or twice . Better na nowt anyway !
  19. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/mar/21/100-years-on-another-great-depression-coronavirus-fiscal-response a little light reading for you all. Keep reading it though as it’s not all doom and gloom
  20. Humans really are stupid 😞
  21. Yes it’s mucky , I’m just cleaning it now . Tuck mi beard in and away I go ! Got hospital on weds so need to ring and see if my appointment is still on edit , got some proper bio filters for it too
  22. Ah reet , not seen that , maybe this type will b more effective?
  23. Been running the slurry tanker all day at work , couple of miles round trip from farm to field and I’ve never seen as many families out walking the area , loads of cyclists , loads of old folks in their cars (at least they were staying in their cars !) . My cousin politely pointed out to one family that they were wandering around his winter wheat crop which has just nicely started to shoot , they had obviously never been in the area and were 1/2 a mile off the footpath ! The only thing that will save people from their own stupidity is being locked down !
