Greyhead

Help.. Came to drive off in my 1999 TD5 last night, no alarm set, jumped in, started engine, but as I switched the lights on prior to driving off,the lights never came on and the alarm sounded. Alarm switched off as light switch switched off, and after trying them several times no change. Still no lights, and alarm sounds ever time lights are switched on.. Plz help ?

Had the switch problem, didn't know what to do, so went on tinterweb and searched which brought me here to this group. After joining up, and reading through, within twenty minutes I had the dash off and switch changed. What an invaluable site this is, absolutely brilliant, and a massive thank you to all who have posted and helped. Andy.
