We've had the same problem and we did all the possible changes we found online - Fuel pumps - changing the air filters etc. It turned out that I had a faulty turbo boost value. Very easy fix and sorted the problem.

Hi all, I am new here and I have a Freelander '52 plate TD4 diesel. To be honest it is on its way out - but I cant afford to replace it until next year. However, I have now got a serious noise and rattle coming from the front. It feels like I am driving on rumble strips. I have had the balancing looked at and its fine. It only happens when I am accelerating on the motorway - to a point it feels if the wheel is going to fall off! When I stop accelerating it stops. Any idea's? Thanks Lozz
