    I know, to be honest we thought it was 3 years from submission which meant it would have been up next year but after the decision they told us the 3 years starts from then. Disappointing really when we wanted them to do it but they rejected it. Never mind, there are always other models!

    Hello, although we are not allowed to sell anything for 3 years to do with the models we put on the Ideas website we are able to give the instructions away for free! Therefore rather than waiting 3 years this is what we have decided to do. We have created a website 4x4bricks.com where we hope to have the LEGO parts list in the next week followed shortly after with the instructions for the Series III as just finishing them off. I'm afraid this is the best we can do but we were determined not to just let it go after all the support we had.

    Hi there,Thought best let you know that the results have come out and Lego have decided not to produce the Land Rover so it won't be for sale in store.We are obviously very disappointed as we know there was a market for this but would like to thank you for your support. We couldn't have got as far as we did without it!

    Thank you. We really do believe in our project and that it would be a great product whether people just want to display it or make their own modifications to it just like the real Land Rover! But feedback from shows and forums like this one have really spurred us on to keep going and get the supporters as we can see just how popular it would be. Going to be a long wait now!

    We know JLR are aware of our project as we emailed them about it. They have tweeted about it. To be honest it is all out of our hands now. It is for Lego to decide if they think it is good enough and if they want to produce it, then I guess they would talk to JLR. All we can do is hope they say yes!

    Yes we have made it to review stage! It's going to be a few months wait now before we find out whether the Lego Land Rover will be produced. We wanted to say a big thank you for your support/feedback/encouragement, it has really meant a lot. Fingers crossed now we can get approved for sale in the Lego Shop!

    Great weekend at the NEC Classic Car Show, over 9000 supporters now so if you know anyone who may want to support us please pass it on

    Here is our finished attempt at a miniature Tower Bridge from the Land Rover launch night that we were privileged to be invited to! Hope people at the show next weekend like it and it encourages them to support us.     Just an update for you, we are now over 3/4 of the way there with over 7500 supporters which is great! We need you to encourage your family members and friends to register (an update has just been done which they say makes supporting us easier) and help us get to the 10000 Lego review stage to get this produced Our next exhibiting shows are Brick Lego Show in Birmingham in 2 weeks and Classic Car Show in Birmingham middle of November so might see you there if you are attending! here is the link in case you need it! http://ideas.lego.com/projects/116805

    Cheeky! we will keep trying to encourage people to actually register. I know it's a bit fiddly but we do appreciate it when people take the 5 minutes to do it for us

    I'm guessing you know Quentin Willson? The other is Bear Grylls, he is a Land Rover Ambassador, he is Chief of Scouts and he does adventure programmes on tv he also put the last brick on the Land Rover record breaking Lego Tower Bridge

    We have emailed but keep getting passed from pillar to post "it's not me you need to speak to its such and such" so really struggling to find a point of contact at Land Rover. We will keep trying and look in to your ideas, so thanks for that, much appreciated!
