  1. I agree, would be great if you can do it (bloody PhotoBucket). (Shame the placeholders don't even link to them on PB's site so a kindhearted soul could do it for you! I think Flickr seem to be the best free alternative - anyone use someone else?
  2. I have seen it somewhere, will post a link if I find it again.
  3. That looks perfect, genuine Safari I'm guessing? Don't remember that on the one I had on the last truck, but it has been a decade! Means swapping for the Mantec, but I don't mind in the end... Thanks for the pic, v handy.
  4. I'm happy with that if I can get something that works - it's already got a Mantec 'plastic jobby' fitted so not a problem.
  5. Doesn't it step down from one end to the other? If you've got a link, that'd be a great help - could save a lot of hassle if I can sort it that easily!
  6. Good point, I did forget to mention that in my post above, I have two fault accidents in the last 4 years (all reported of course) - one m'cycle which got pinched at 6 weeks old (I'd kill them if I could find them) and my wife bumped into the back of someone who braked suspiciously suddenly out of a roundabout in London. Used to live in Leicestershire and did have pretty high insurance considering I lived in a little village...
  7. Apparently not allowed to 'like' yet, but thanks very much, that'll do nicely!
  8. Hi - Does anyone know if there's a single-piece air hose that replaces the myriad of joins and whatnot that goes in between the side air intake on a TD5 Defender and the stock airbox? I'm trying to simplify everything on the way into the turbo and I've found everything but that bit so far! IF nobody's come up with one, do any of you guys know of anyone that makes a good aftermarket replacement in parts - everyone seems to do a replacement for the bit between the turbo / intercooler etc but nothing before that (except the Allisport one from airbox to turbo which is about £290). Thanks
  9. That is bloody gorgeous. Now if only I had any skills whatsoever....
  10. That's just insane - I've just (last week) got a new policy with Heritage for £180, 38yo and no NCB, here in Somerset. I'd DEFINITELY shop around a bit more! And that price is including a SkyTag GPS tracker for free (you pay for the first year's subscription, but the unit's worth £250 apparently), green laning, off-road events non competitively, all mods etc etc. Prices did vary a lot though, but worth talking to a few of the obvious 4x4 specialists like Carole Nash, Lancaster, Adrian Flux, and Heritage. Heritage were extremely helpful I must say. A bit slow on sending the actual documents out but they were a bit swamped at the time. I'm waiting to get a valuation for an agreed value cover on it, will be interesting to see what they come back with.
