I was wondering if any one who has modified their vehicle by, by passing the air flow meter. I heard that it was done by connecting the positive wire from the throttle connecting to the positive wire to the computer.
Has anyone heard of this. I believe it gives instant throttle response.
Many thanks for taking the time to reply. On dirt I do let the tyre pressure down but there it will be more about the ride. Where we will be it will be slow driving and hence a dirt of body roll may make it more comfortable.
I have a 2002 Landrover Discovery and I am wanting to turn ACE off as I spend my time in the outback. Basically the ride is way to hard. I have changed the shockers to Bilstien Gas & upgraded the springs to match. After owning a early model Range Rover and seeing how good their ride was I am trying to replicate it by turning off the ACE system. Does any one know if this is possible.
