Hi guys, again! So had the there amigos, spent hours reading online and decide to go for the new shuttle valve kit, had it fitted and now with in 3 days there back, but not not permanently on, the original error codes before fitting 66 and 134 shuttle valve. My question is, as there are no other error codes apart from the shuttle valve would my next best bet be getting the module refurbed ? I have been quoted £515 all in. The lights are not permanently on I am feeling a little stressed and worried that I have made the wrong choice buying this car, I was just about to get the warped manifold fixed and now back to square one again with the dam ABS system and I still need a service doing. wish I had the knowledge tools and a ramp to do all this my self. If anyone can advise me on the new module choice that may help put my mind to rest as I am concerned that that might not even solve the problem. Thanks for your time

Hi guys have taken it to a LR specialist and they have confirmed that its the manifold like you all suggested, waiting for a quote for the removal, to have it skimmed and refitted. But now it may have to wait as the dam 3 amigos are back after 3 days since the shuttle valve was fitted, looks like it needs a new module after all feeling like I made a mistake buying this car now,

Hi guys, ok a different problem, I was trying to the hill decent today and noticed a few possible problems, 1, no neutral light when High/low is in N 2, when Low rage is selected and the auto Box put in to gear 1 2 3 or d when the Hill decent switch is turned on all i get is the light flashing and a constant bing bing bing, I am guessing that the TRansfer Box Low Ratio Detect Switch and the switch that tells it its in N is busted, I have found the TRansfer Box Low Ratio Detect Switch here www.britishparts.co.uk/products/10229-switch-low-ratio-IGM100000 but still looking for the N detect switch, My question is where are these located on the car, is there a how to any were on line I am missing? Thanks again and hope you can help.

whilst having the shuttle valve fitted today in the hope it solves the 3 amigos I asked them to have a look, they said that they did a smoke test and the system was fine, no leaks, I am going to get a second opinion i think. so far the 3 amigos have gone, keeping fingers and tows crossed it stays that way. thanks again

Hi guys hope everyone is keeping well. Ok so I have got my self my first land rover and I am having a few problems, I am currently fixing the three amigos problem just ordered the shuttle valve kit as everything else seems to be ok that can cause this problem, fingers crossed that solves it. However there is a different problem that has started to happen. When pulling away with some force or up hill there is a squealing sound only a little and then goes away, if i pull away slowly its not there, if i rev the engine in neutral (auto box) there is no sound it seems to only happen when in drive and moving it does stop after a few seconds and does not return unless i stop and start again. any advice on what i should be looking for ? I am not experienced with fixing cars but if i can check stuff out I will, I was thinking it sounded like the fan belt but if it does not do it in neutral than perhaps that not the problem ? Any advice on this would be great, loving the car otter than these problems, Thanks in advanced.
