The engine is the 2.5 liter v6 like i said cranks but wont run unless im spraying ether so its acting like its not getting fuel

My 02 freelander turn signals dont work i checked all of my fuses and my relays and replaced the switch hazards work just fine any thoughts

So my freelander had some issues when i got it didnt like to start all the time wouldnt even try and crank but if you let it sit for a few minutes it would fire right up my wife drove it up to AutoZone and it didnt want to start so i got a new battery for it now it cranks but wont run unless im spraying ether into the intake any ideas
