  1. Hi All, Thought I'd let you know that Burnham are running a weekend at Tring again in June. It's a massive site with different terrains to suit all abilities and vehicles, from road going to full on challenge. Once again, it is planned to be very family friendly and will include camping 9and a campfire!!). http://www.burnhamoffroaders.org.uk for more details. Juz
  2. Can I test this 'in situ' or do I need to drill out the rivets and remove the resostor? Juz
  3. Fan is free, easily spun by hand. I may (oops, embarassed) have checked the wrong fuse, I read it as Fuse 5, so I'll check that first and report back. Cheers Juz
  4. Hi All, The heater fan on my My '96 90 has stopped working. In order to help me diagnose the problem, does it run through a relay (and if it does, where is it)? I know it's a numpty question, but I don't have my Haynes book of lies with me. Thanks Juz
  5. Weather is looking dodgy for skydiving, so this is a reasonable alternative!! Juz
  6. I had similar symptons, did filter, lift pump, fuel pump and was still the same, ended up being the injectors. Juz

  14. Looking through my spares box, I've found a bunch of seals that I have previously ordered (either for a 90 or a RRC) but never used. I can seem to identify them, can anyone help? They are all badged Karsons Automotive components and are in the red, Orange and white boxes. The codes are: MR 869 MR 874 MR 14115 Googling didn't seem to help, anyone here know what each one is for? Juz

  16. Hi Everyone, Wanted to let you know about a P&P weekend that my club is organising. The site is in Tring and is easy to get to, being just opposite the big Champneys weekend spa place (your wife or girlfirend will know of it!!) Camping is available for those wishing to do both days. Obviously I'm biased, but the last event we held at this site was excellent. It's a big site that's pretty impressive, with lots to do. Have a look here: http://www.burnhamoffroaders.org.uk/home.asp?token=00000000000000000000&t_id=4&i_id=539 Cheers Juz
  17. CANCELLED Due to some cock-up or other between the club and the land owner, this needs to be rescheduled. I'll update as soon as we have a revised date. My apologies. Juz

  19. Cheers. Wouldn't that also stop the fog lights working? Juz
  20. Hi All, I could really do with knowing about the lights on a 1996 Def 90. Last night whilst my girlfriend was driving the truck, she said the dip beam just went out. Side lights and Main Beam still work. On Side lights, there is some illumination of the headlight units, but it's reasonably bright on the passenger side and very dim on the drivers side. So, Question 1, on a 1996 Def, should the main headlight units illuminate with the sidelights. I think older models had some kind of 1/6 illumination, but also thought that this had ceased by 1996. Checked fuses, they're ok. Put a multimeter between the Dipbeam fuse and an earth: All lights off - 0v Side lights - 4v Dip beam - 0v I don't think it's the switch as the foglights still come on. what do you guys think? Juz
