  1. Freelander 2 litre diesel. The rear main seal should have a little pliancy to them right? The first seal was hard as rock, so were the three others they bought. Dodgy batch perhaps? The seal has been machined out,and another seal with the spring around it has been fitted. Hope that fixes it. Been four weeks now.....
  2. Are the three door Freelander's prop shafts and all related bits and pieces the same size as a five door? And whoever said that replacing the slave cylinder was easy, may have a little bit economical with the truth.......
  3. Hi all, I have been given a 2000 5 door wagon, diesel/manual. Apart from the clutch master and slave cylinder needing replacement, it is a good little rocket. However, it has been given the 2WD treatment, but I can source a 2002 SE with a petrol engine and an auto. Can I use the IRD and viscous diff and drive shafts in my car. Cant see the point in having a Claytons 4WD. Thanks.
