03 disco with a fuel pump noise sounded like a cat, hard to start and smokey. Fix = on the fuel filter housing as you look at it closest pipe to you on the left side, clip the pipe off and screw out the connector. Inside the connector there is a little filter take this out and try blow through it and you prob can't, put a small drill bit or screw a screw down the filter stem to make the hole slightly bigger don't go too hard it's only plastic, now you should be able to blow through it put it back together purge the jeep and away you go
