  1. Na they were Phillips brand but i do believe they have failed so I will go back with standard lights but brighter because they gloves i have are terrible. Any recommendations on what globes you think is best would be awesome. Thanks heaps for the help
  2. Any help would be appreciated ?
  3. I did double check by testing with a mate. First I put the lights on a shed wall and then tilted them down until I was happy with it not being up too high and then asked a mate to drive toward me on an open road. Seems like a lot of effort to go through but i myself hate when iam driving toward somebody and i cant see because of to lights being too high or bright. I am not one of those ignorant drivers my lights are only 55w instead of the overkill 75 to 100
  4. Hi guys I am after some advice . 6 months ago i installed a hid headlight kit (awesome lighting) in my 1994 discovery . 4 weeks ago hid spotties were installed with a relay but setup so that they turn on when I put high beam on. in the last few days one headlight would turn on and off as it please and now today I have no headlights and spotties flash on and off. The headlights still flash on when I turn lights on but turn off straight away. can anybody please try explain to me want id happening. Oh and I just put my old headlights back in and they work just fine but still the same issue with the spotties
  5. I just found that the idle stepper reading is 0% when warm. is this odd? its a new stepper but maybe its faulty
  6. No still no new codes. When it fired up and started running really smooth i could have cried i was that excited hahahaha
  7. Also ive just taken it for a good drive and found that it loses power but then takes off fine again.once i had to stop and start it again and started fine and drove fine again
  8. All fixed guys . not really positive but i think it was to do with the burnt track in the ecu. now just needs a timing . what timing do you guys recommend ? i cany thank you guys enough for all the help
  9. One thing i haven't checked is the regulator . could this make this kind of issue?
  10. Same as it always has done since doing the head gasket and removing the gas.Smells fuelly when i try start it and sometimes starts and sometimes doesn't. has no fault codes anymore though which is good
  11. Okay cheers. still no luck with getting it running. could the ecu be buggered possibly?
  12. If the rovergauge is saying these while trying to start does it mean its fine or? obviously something isn't right ? Throttle position sensor :6% Stepper: 100% Maf: 1% Injector duty 3% Pulse width: 16.64ms Any help would be great..cheers
  13. Little update. Had an auto electrician friend come up tonight and that there was a track burnt out in the ecu. After fixing it up the rovergauge say it has no fault codes and everything seems to be okay but iam no professional at reading the rovergauge. I have a picture of it but i cant upload to show you because apparently the file size is too large. After all this the bus wont start.
  14. Yeah no resistance mate. Ive now tested to see if there is any voltage at the coolant and fuel temp sensor. Checking each wire on both plugs has told me there is 9.10v on one wire and 5.05v on the other...same reading on both plugs. Does this mean there is no break in the wire if its getting voltage?
  15. Ive cleared the codes and still the same. I also tested the resistance step by step from the hotwire efi and it seems there is no resistance or iam doing it wrong. I don't think thats my wire codes sierrafery but ill have a look tomorrow as its dark now
