  1. I gave up in the end. I tried a few suggestions of altering the star wheel etc and didn't help so I put the original pin back in and set that to 100 degrees clockwise and the torx screw on the compensator to 1 turn clockwise and now she is running lovely again.

  3. Evening everyone. I have tried searching for this but haven't found anything. I have just fittied a boost pin to my 200tdi defender and although it goes like a bat out of hell when the turbo spools up, it is gutless up to that point. Can any one point me in some direction as what I need to adjust now ?? Im frustrated because I had moved the standard pin round about 95-100 degrees, and tightened the top screw on the compensator but 3/4 of a turn and had a pretty good set up. Although it was not as fast as it is now, it had much more low down torque. Any my help would be appreciated. Myke.
