  1. Hi Terry do you have some sort of diagram I could use I have the harness at the point of removing every unwanted wire.
  2. G'day all. there's a simple answer to this. I like the rover motor. It's light. Makes enough HP to do the job. I don't want to break to many things. EG intermediate shaft between the gearbox & transfercase or the modified Datsun 180b axle shaft shortened to use as the rear tailshaft. I had 351 ford Windsor at my disposal but went bigger cubes. Sorry the loss of picks thankyou photobucket for holding users to ransom
  3. Good evening all. I have an interest in this post. I'm currently fitting a 3.9 95 model disco engine into my VW kombi mid mount. It will be 4wd. the engine in pic is for setting up with. I would like to know if anyone can help out with a hand drawn pic of the wiring harness. The workshop manual I have been working of is on 2 pages pre & post 94 model. If anyone can help out
  4. G'day all. I thought you would like these Aussie builds. These are few pics of a mates collection of custom owner builds he has a standard Rangie a custom dual cab Rangie the shorty & is building a forward control the 3 customs run 6cylinder turbo multi port injected Landcruiser engine. the dual cab uses the original ZF auto the owner built the adaptor bellhousing to bolt the 2 together. the shorty is on a rangie chassis. I will put up some more pics if wanted. note the rear suspension arms he built them to replace the factory upper A arm. {img][/img]
  5. this is the early 3.5 used as dummy for mounts & location [/img]
  6. G'day all. I'm a bit of topic here with my build. Project is a 76 model VW BUS with a 3.9 95 model Australian red tuning resistor no cat setup midmounted into the bus. I'm using a Toyota HiAce diesel 5speed with a divorced Nissan 720 4WD transfercase. I have a problem finding information on the Auto Manual transmission resistor 1 it's location in the loom 2 a google pic of it 3 It say in the manual transmission it goes to earth does the resistor have to be on or can I just run the wire to earth.
