    Clutch

Hi Freelander TD4 - 2004 - 4x4 Can someone please tell me is it necessary to remove the transfer box to take the gearbox out to replace the clutch? (If it comes out without removing the transfer box I must still have a bolt or bolts to find) Thanks
  2. Hello Everyone - I am brand new to this forum - I recently bought an 04 Freelander TD4 that needs a clutch - I am going to use it for popping round locally and towing my vintage tractors to shows I am in the process of taking the gearbox out - just after a little bit advice about detaching the gear linkage please? Is it a roll pin that knocks out of the main selector shaft sleeve? Do I also need to take the link pin out with the spiral clip on the bottom where the ball joint linkage attaches? I have found and removed the hidden bolt on the back side of the engine that I was told about - well hidden! Regards Ian D
