  1. Thanks secondjeremy, I don't have that particular issue, but I did some extra research, and it looks like the water is accumulating in the rear storage area/seat. Up to 1cm can pool in this cavity, and the underside of the lid is wet at the same time. Anyone have any idea where that might come in from? Cheers
  2. Just to add to this, on the internal side of things, here's where I'm seeing the water ingress. It's almost as if water is either getting in through the channel in the roof, or along the galv metal where the roof meets the tray in back. Or maybe both.
  3. Hey Steve, Thanks for the reply. The truck is a LWB 1969 S2A Safari Top. I'm in NZ so this has had a fairly typical engine swap out to a Holden 186 engine. At some point I'd like to add an overdrive or change the diff to make the gears longer. Also power drums would be handy but that's a want not a need. Overall she's pretty original, but also tidy. Not much rust hence my concern about the dripping - in fact any advice or info about preventative maintenance regarding moisture ingress would be appreciated. I will be replacing all the door seals as those are well and truly on the way out. I was also considering cutting out a lot of the rubber seals along the tops of the doors sills as the rubber has perished and siliconing it, the front left door lets in a bit of water when it's rained on but I can see where. Here's some pics. I use her every day as my work wagon, in a world where every pickup and 4WD looks the same, I love the noise, smell and ricketyness of her. Cheers
  4. Hi there, Did a short search on this topic but couldn't find any info. I've got a S2A LWB Safari I use as my daily. Had it about 6 months, but I notice that now it's a bit colder here, it leaks a lot of water from the rear, just around the left rear hand hold. I presume this is collected condensation from the roof draining out. Sometimes it can be a lot of water (I haven't collected it in a bucked but I'd say around half a litre or more). Is this common, and is it a problem I need to be investigating (and if so, what am I looking for)? Cheers
