1980 classic Range rover (2 door ) is missing "SAL" ON the VIN PLATE AT radiator.,,,,,so number starts with *LH... all paperwork matches the plate. To carry out a history check on this R/R I had to include "SAL" to get report. also No number stamped on chassis??? Has any one noticed this previously on a classic range rover?
